Metric, Din 7984, Zinc plated

High tensile Low Head Socket cap screws, made of 10.9 steel with a bright zinc plate material to Din 7984 with metric coarse thread. Also known as a socket screw or Allen bolt. This is a cap screw with a hexagonal recessed drive and a reduced head height for space conservation purposes. A hex key, sometimes referred to as an Allen wrench or Allen key, or hex driver is required to tighten or loosen a socket screw. Socket screws are commonly used in assemblies that don't provide sufficient clearance for a conventional wrench or spanner and the low profile head of these screws make them ideal for low clearance applications.
